Hydraulic seal factory in China: Mechanical seals are engineered for most pumps, mixer and agitator applications in maintenance. In many cases the designs have been proven to be workhorses over years of use. In others seals must be designed for evolving industrial demands. The basic rotating face mechanical seal design is adaptable to serve a wide range of sealing applications including compressors. Standard mechanical seals can suit most requirements to temperatures of 500 degrees F and shaft speeds to 3600 RPM. The selection of secondary seal type often determines the temperature and chemical capabilities of the seal. The combination of materials used in the rotating and stationary faces define the abrasive resistance, and chemical resistance. Seal face combinations will also determine the amount of energy consumed by the pump, mixer, agitator or compressor. Seal faces can be balanced to permit higher pressure sealing. Balanced seals can seal pressures above 200 psi, or used in a multiple stages for higher pressures or especially severe fluid services. Special mechanical seals can be furnished to meet the most demanding of industrial applications considering pressure, temperature, speed or fluid. The Fluid Film – In most mechanical seals the faces are kept lubricated by maintaining a thin film of fluid between the seal faces. This film can either come from the process fluid being pumped or from an external source. The need for a fluid film between the faces presents a design challenge – allowing sufficient lubricant to flow between the seal faces without the seal leaking an unacceptable amount of process fluid, or allowing contaminants in between the faces that could damage the seal itself. This is achieved by maintaining a precise gap between the faces that is large enough to allow in a small amounts of clean lubricating liquid but small enough to prevent contaminants from entering the gap between the seal faces. This micro-gap is maintained using springs and hydraulic force to push the seal faces together, while the pressure of the liquid between the faces (the fluid film) acts to push them apart.
It can maintain stable performance after prolonged exposure to various corrosive compounds. Due to its lack of polarity, low unsaturation, and high chemical stability, our gasket has high resistance to various polar chemicals such as alcohols, acids (acetic acid, hydrochloric acid, etc.), strong base (sodium hydroxide, oxidant, hydrogen peroxide), detergents, animal and vegetable oils, ketones and certain esters. It is designed to have excellent aging resistance and excellent resistance to compression set and compression stress relaxation. Therefore, our gasket has significant advantages over other conventional gaskets. Its excellent materials and manufacturing process enables it to achieve effective sealing when exposed to corrosive chemicals, friction, high temperatures or very low temperatures. At the same time, it is easy to install and has industry-leading creep resistance, which saves users a lot of time and cost and increases productivity.
Since the scraper seal is made of the special material, PTFE, it has an impurity immersion function. Therefore, when combined with the piston rod seal and the metal bushing, it can prevent damage to the piston rod and prevent the accumulation of oil pressure. It has a diameter range of 3-1600mm and a temperature range of -30°C + 200°C. The wiper scraper seal can operate at speeds of up to 5 m/s. It has high wear resistance, tear resistance, low-temperature resistance and good strength. Our wiper seals can be used in combination with piston seals and anti-wear rings to prevent oil in the cylinder from being mixed with foreign matter, which causes damage to the working seal. It is especially suitable for piston rods with a large diameter. Moreover, it has a wide range of applications, such as agricultural machinery, injection moulding machines, forklifts, cranes and so on.
Gasket sealing mechanism: The function of the gasket is caused by the blocking effect on the internal medium formed by the contact pressure of the sealing material on the joint surface and the elastic restoring force to the external tightening force. Classification and structure of gaskets: Gaskets are divided into three categories: non-metallic gaskets, non-metallic and metal combined gaskets and metal gaskets. The common materials are rubber, leather, asbestos board, cork, PTFE, tinplate, steel, aluminum, copper and stainless steel.
Support and positioning The piston and piston rod are radially supported and positioned in the cylinder barrel. Isolate the two pairs of motion pairs of piston and cylinder, piston rod and guide sleeve to prevent direct scratches, abrasions and strains between the motion pairs. Especially when the motion pairs are all steel parts, they must be isolated, otherwise they will be easily strained. The guide belt also has an important role to reduce the friction and friction work between the moving parts, reduce the ineffective work and heat. Vibration absorption and noise reduction Reduce system vibration and noise. It is mainly filled with tetrafluoroethylene and phenolic cloth, and there are also a very small amount of polyoxymethylene, nylon and soft metal. Discover extra information at dmsseals.com.
We can design the suitable spring energized seals for your application. Our oil seals have TC, TB, SC, DC, TCV and so on. Looking forward to supply the best seals for you.(O Ring Manufacturers & Hydraulic Oil Seal Manufacturers). DMS SEALS, the seals manufacturer, was founded in 2008. DMS started by manufacturing filled PTFE seals, including bronze filled PTFE, carbon filled PTFE, graphite PTFE, MoS2 filled PTFE, and glass filled PTFE. We now also produce O-rings made of NBR, FKM, silicone, EPDM, FFKM.
Key points of engineering mechanical seal design: Select a reasonable sealing scheme, focusing on the above requirements. First of all, the dustproof performance must be good. More than 80% of the failures of the hydraulic system are directly or indirectly derived from the stains in the system. Choose the best seals For seals of the same structure, the product quality of each company varies greatly. On the whole, the quality of large foreign seal companies is relatively stable, but the probability of encountering fakes is too high. Sometimes the so-called direct supply is not reliable. In terms of domestic seals, most of them are not very good, but at present, some manufacturers’ products have been chasing or even surpassing imported products, with stable and reliable quality, such as tetrafluoroethylene and rubber seals produced by Damson Sealing.
The O-ring of DMS SEALS is often used in hydraulic and pneumatic transmission systems and has wide applications. It can be used for both static and reciprocating seals. Moreover, it can also be used in rotary sealing systems. The O-ring can be installed in a groove with a rectangular cross section on the outer or inner circle, achieving a good sealing effect. It has many advantages compared with other types of sealing rings. Its compact structure makes it easy to assemble and disassemble. Moreover, its dynamic frictional resistance is relatively small, and a single piece of O-ring can achieve sealing performance in both directions.
